Farmyard Manure

Description

This material is sourced from the herd of pedigree Friesian cattle from the farm next door to our production facility in Somerset. We shred the material and turn it while it matures, prior to packaging and dispatch to the customer. This ensures that a temperature high enough to kill most weed seed and soil pests is achieved.

Farmyard Manure is ideal for:

• Adding organic matter
• Improving soil texture
• Providing slow release nutrients to sustain plant growth over long periods of time
• Recommended rate of use

For general soil improvement a 50mm layer should be spread over the area to be treated, then forked or rotavated in. A 75mm layer could be considered with very poor soils.

Farmyard Manure can be supplied in loose bulk bulk bags and 60 litres. A bulk bags will be sufficient to treat an area of 18 square metres at a depth of 50mm.
